Our client, recognized as one of the top staffing agencies in Austin, is seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Recruiter with a proven track record in an agency environment. This is a high-impact role for a disciplined recruiter who understands the accounting and finance landscape and consistently delivers placements across critical financial functions. The ideal candidate brings urgency, precision, and market intelligence, with the ability to move candidates efficiently from intake to close. This is not an entry-level opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance staffing within an agency
- Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance functions, risk terminology, and organizational structure
- Familiarity with financial systems and technical platforms such as SAP and Oracle
QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep knowledge of the Austin accounting and finance market
- Proven ability to penetrate accounting and finance organizations
- Experience placing contract and direct-hire professionals
- Track record of delivering placements across SEC reporting, tax, internal audit, AR, AP, payroll, and treasury
- Ability to build pipelines that consistently convert into starts
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to close
- Source, screen, and qualify accounting and finance professionals beyond keyword matching
- Maintain disciplined pipeline activity and performance metrics
- Partner with hiring managers to understand functional and technical requirements
- Drive consistent placements with urgency and precision
COMPENSATION
- Base salary, not a draw against commission
- Aggressive commission structure
- Possible non-recoverable draw for candidates transitioning from high monthly commissions
