Our client, recognized as one of the top staffing agencies in Austin, is seeking an experienced Technical/Engineering Recruiter with a proven track record in a staffing agency environment. This is a high-impact role for a recruiter who thrives in a performance-driven setting and understands that metrics matter, but starts matter more. This is not an entry-level opportunity. The client is looking for a disciplined, market-savvy recruiter who understands the Austin technology landscape and consistently delivers placements across software, hardware, and enterprise technology verticals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in technology staffing within an agency environment
  • Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting
  • Experience placing both contract and direct-hire professionals
  • Strong understanding of technical software, hardware, or enterprise technologies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep knowledge of the Austin technology market
  • Proven ability to penetrate engineering organizations
  • Skilled at evaluating candidates beyond keyword matching
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to close
  • Track record of building pipelines that convert into placements
  • High sense of urgency, discipline, and accountability

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and engineering roles
  • Conduct thorough intake sessions with hiring managers
  • Source, screen, and qualify technical talent with precision
  • Move candidates efficiently through the interview and offer process
  • Maintain strong pipeline activity and performance metrics
  • Deliver consistent placements across software, hardware, and enterprise technology roles

EMPLOYMENT

  • Permanent, direct hire with standard full-time hours

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary, not a draw against commission
  • Aggressive commission structure
  • Potential non-recoverable draw available for candidates transitioning from high monthly commissions
