Senior Sales Technology Staffing

Location: Houston, TX – Galleria Area

Required Experience: Minimum 5 years experience of successful staffing sales for a staffing agency in the technology vertical.

Required Skills: You will be given clients with existing contracts and contacts in place, but you must have a proven ability to be a hunter-type account executive who can build a quality book of business.

Education: A college degree is desired, but is not required. If you have job stability of 4 or more years with one company in lieu of a college degree, you will be considered.

Description: Our client, who has been very successful in the temp, clerical and acct/fin staffing industries in Houston for well over 20 years is opening a technology division and is seeking an account executive to open the Houston market.

Client has current revenues totaling well over $50mil annually, so there are a number of contracts with large corporations already in place that can be leveraged. Client is also a certified WBE company with numerous supplier of the year awards.

You will report to the vice president over technology who has 20 years of technology staffing industry experience. This role will have a career path to branch manager if that is a desire as well.

Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in business-to-business sales within a staffing agency setting, preferably within the technology or engineering verticals.

You must have a proven track record of outstanding sales performance and a well-defined approach for hunting and closing new business.

You will need to be disciplined and self-motivated with good telephone and face-to-face presentation skills.

Responsibilities: You will be given clients with existing contracts in place, but the hiring company is seeking a hunter-type account manager who can build their own book of business within the technology staffing vertical. You will have the ability to sell contract and search, projects, or VMS.

Compensation: Total package could easily top 200k annually

  • Base salary NOT a “draw against” up to 75k for senior level BDM’s
  • Commissions paid weekly. Commission percentage paid up to 15%
  • 4 quarterly bonuses in addition to an annual bonus as well
  • There could also be a non-recoverable draw for lost commissions
