Location: Chicago, IL – Downtown
Required Experience: Minimum 3 years experience of successful staffing sales for a staffing agency; preferably in the technology or engineering verticals, but experience in other staffing industries will be considered as well.
Required Skills: You will be given clients with existing contracts in place, but you will need to be a hunter-type account executive who can build your own book.
Education: A college degree is desired but is not required. If you have job stability of 4 or more years with one company in lieu of a college degree, you will be considered.
Description: Our client, a publicly traded company with offices across the country, is currently seeking an account executive for their downtown Chicago office to sell technology contract, search, project or RPO staffing business.
Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in business-to-business sales within a staffing agency setting, preferably within the technology or engineering verticals. You must have a proven track record of outstanding sales performance and a well-defined approach for hunting and closing new business. You will possibly be required to show sales stats or monthly newsletters to prove your standing. You will need to be disciplined and self-motivated with good telephone and face-to-face presentation skills. The commission structure is lucrative at plan, but for those salespeople who are consistently above plan, this can be a very lucrative opportunity.

Salary and Compensation: USD $55,000 – $75,000 annual base salary plus additional $150,000 in commissions at plan. There also could be a non recoverable draw for those who are walking away from large monthly commissions.
