#4107GI - Regional Manager - IT Staffing - Southern California
Required Skills:  8 - 10 years staffing industry experience.

A leading provider of technical staffing services is seeking a regional manager for their western region.  The majority of the offices are located in the Southern California market, so the candidate must be located in Southern California or be willing to relocate to Southern California. Only candidates with staffing industry knowledge and experience will be considered.  

Responsibilities:

The RM will be responsible for maximum sales growth in the western region through effective sales management of each individual branch location.  This will include developing sales territories and assignment of individual sales expectations, overseeing recruiting staff development, and setting their vision to ensure that each BDM is getting the help and coverage needed to develop respective territories or accounts, and providing significant contributions to the strategic business plans for assigned accounts.

  • Maintain knowledge of staffing industry and business landscape for western region.
  • Help drive business development efforts in each city.
  • Sales & business development - lead sales and business development activities, and leverage professional contacts for the benefit of the company.
  • Stay well connected with clients and consultants in the local marketplace.
  • Review key business opportunities and related agreements.
  • Maintain a proven track record of client/employee satisfaction.
  • Set local office market goals and strategies.
  • Talent management - help identify, recruit, and develop talent for the company.
  • Establish leadership positions and make appointments and/or hires as needed.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports, approve all compensation matters, and ensure consultants periodic performance reviews.
  • Have excellent oral and written communications and business acumen.
  • Communicate effectively and tactfully across all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to effectively present information to senior management and executives as required.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as currently available CRM products.
  • Professional accomplishments must reflect self-motivation, initiative, independence, strong time management and organizational skills, as well as strong oral presentation, written communication, & interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Must be willing to travel.

Experience:

  • 8 - 10 years staffing industry experience with 4 - 6 years of experience managing a sales force of indirect and direct reports on a local and national level.
  • Previous regional P&L experience.

Education: 

  • BA or BS in Business Administration or equivalent business degree.
Pay Rate:  Annual base salary $100,000 - $125,000
Compensation Plan: Additional $100,000+ in commission at plan paid for both contract and permanent placements
